Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s baby girl Khai just turned 1 and the couple celebrated her special day with a family-filled birthday party! - Let’s get into it It feels like it was just yesterday that Gigi Hadid revealed to the world that she and Zayn Malik had become parents for the first time, but believe it or not their adorable baby Khai just completed her first lap around the sun… And to mark the special occasion, the proud parents threw the little one a birthday bash in Gigi’s New York apartment with GiGi’s fam in attendance. Bella Hadid took to her Instagram to give us all a peek into what Khai’s celebration was like, which included a three-tier chocolate cake decorated with rainbows and animals. She also posted several photos of adorable moments with Khai throughout her first year of life and it seems like she's known as "Auntie,” as she wore a gold necklace with that nickname on it.
Bella captioned her post with a loving message that read, "Happy Birthday to the greatest gift our family has ever been blessed with… I didn’t know my heart could grow this big!!! You make me smile when I’m sad and make me cry with happiness just because ur alive. I can’t wait to watch you grow into the most perfect specimen of all. Gigi and Zayn, thank you for my forever best friend.” Khai’s grandad, Mohamed Hadid, also shared photos of the party on his Insta and by the looks of it, the birthday girl got a bunch of new toys as gifts including maracas, tambourines and bongos. And if we didn’t know better ourselves, it seems Gigi and Zayn may have a little musician on their hands. There were also plenty of balloons around the entire apartment including Khai’s name in big golden letters and a giant panda with glasses. As for grandma Yolanda Hadid, she also celebrated the big day on IG.
Yolanda shared photos of Khai at a farm (possibly at her property) where we saw her ride a pony, pet a goat and even bottle-feed a calf while rocking the cutest pair of little cowgirl boots. Yolanda also shared a sweet caption expressing the love and joy Angel Khai has brought into their lives. Khai’s uncle, Anwar Hadid, also showed up at the party with none other than his girlfriend Dua Lipa. Gigi’s older half-sisters, Alana and Marielle also made it to the family event, but it’s unclear whether any of Zayn’s relatives were able to fly in from across the pond in light of travel restrictions to join the festivities.
We were sure they were all there in spirit. Well, one thing’s for sure though, baby Khai had the time of her life surrounded by so much love and happiness, and it’s just beautiful to see Gigi’s whole family come together to celebrate … Happy birthday Khai!
